Clock Art in Downtown Seattle

Downtown Seattle is rich in street clocks. They range from elaborate, nineteenth century installations to newer, modern clocks, erected as part of the ongoing urban renewal. Beginning in 2001, the Downtown Seattle Association began collaborating with NBBJ Architects and Planners, the Mayor's Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs, and Seattle City Councilmember Nick Licata to locate all 27 public clocks in Downtown. You can use this visual survey as a guide to designing your own Downtown walking tour.
