Singer-Songwriter and Emmy-Nominated Actress
Minnie Driver to Perform Free at 2007
Out To Lunch Concert Series

Downtown Seattle’s Freeway Park will be rocking on
August 17th

SEATTLE, WA – Most people know of Minnie Driver as the accomplished British actress featured in such notable films as Gross Pointe Blank and Good Will Hunting. She also recently earned an Emmy nomination for her dramatic, lead role in the popular FX series The Riches. But there’s more to this talented starlet as she has a burgeoning singing career that started way before she found her acting chops. And this Friday, Minnie Driver will be a featured artist at the 2007 Out to Lunch Concert Series (OTL) sponsored by Starbucks and Safeco.

  WHEN: Friday, August 17, 2007
TIME: Noon – 1:30pm
WHERE: Freeway Park, Downtown Seattle (6th & Seneca)
(visit www.downtownsummer.com)
COST: FREE

Minnie Driver’s singer-songwriter style lends to a melodic blending of hushed vocals complemented by lush guitars, creating a balance between dreamy ballads and more stirring, spirited numbers. Last month, Driver’s second album SEASTORIES was recently released to rave reviews. All the material for the album was written by Driver and features guest performances by Ryan Adams and Liz Phair, among others. Guests to the OTL show at Freeway Park can anticipate hearing many of those songs in addition to a collection from her freshman release.
