Hing Hay Coworks is hosting an open house forum about the Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Mayor Murray has proposed to replace and expand the Seattle Housing Levy, which expires at the end of 2016, and Mayor Murray has proposed renewing and expanding the levy to provide $290 million over seven years for affordable housing.
Replacing and expanding the existing levy was one of the key recommendations of the Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda (HALA). At the same time, other HALA ideas are moving forward.
