Waterfront Whimsea – An Afternoon Filled with Family Fun

The Waterfront neighborhood is always a great destination for family fun, but on Sunday, June 8 the kids take center stage for the annual sign that summer is upon us – Waterfront Whimsea.

As always, it’s a packed schedule with free family fun featuring bubbles, magic, music, games and more at Waterfront Park.

Here’s the lineup for the day’s activities:

 

WATERFRONT WHIMSEA FAMILY FUN DAY LINE-UP/SCHEDULE (RAIN OR SHINE)

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Bubbleman

11:00 a.m. – 1:15 pm. – Bruce Meyers’ Mystic Tent

12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. – The Not-Its!

1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Seattle Seafair Clowns

1:45 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – The Magic & Comedy of Bruce Meyers

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Seattle Fire Department’s fireboat is scheduled to make an appearance in Elliott Bay

Bubbleman editIn addition to live entertainment, event attendees will enjoy activities such as a bounce house, games and prizes!

Waterfront neighborhood businesses, residents and visitors enjoyed a fantastically fun time at the 2012 and 2013 Whimsea events. This year’s event brings another occasion for whimsical family fun on the Downtown Waterfront.
