Clean and Safe Downtown Committee
MID’s Clean and Safe Downtown Committee addresses issues and policies affecting the urban environment within the MID boundaries. In a given year, these issues may include panhandling, streetscape improvements, police enforcement and more.

DSA/MID Downtown Communications & Marketing Committee
The Downtown Communications & Marketing Committee develops campaigns to build on Downtown’s image as the preferred place to shop, dine, stay and play. The committee implements destination marketing initiatives including the holiday carousel in Westlake Park, the Out to Lunch Summer Concerts, while coordinating with the neighborhood committees to produce a variety of seasonal, neighborhood-specific campaigns and promotions.

Neighborhoods Marketing Advisory Council
The Neighborhoods Advisory Council is comprised of the Neighborhood Advisors for the five MID neighborhoods. The role of the Council is to approve general direction and provide feedback on promotion ideas for the MID neighborhoods. All Neighborhood Advisors also sit on the DSA/MID Downtown Communications & Marketing Committee.
