Commute Seattle

At the Downtown Seattle Association and Metropolitan Improvement District, ensuring convenient access to Downtown is a priority. We manage several programs and work with local businesses to ensure commuters can get around Downtown easily.

As part of this effort, DSA has partnered with King County Metro and the City of Seattle’s Department of Transportation to form Commute Seattle, a commuter service organization working to improve access to and from – and mobility within – Downtown Seattle.

Commute Seattle provides transportation resources for commuters, as well as consulting services for Downtown businesses, property owners and managers looking to develop commute packages for employees and tenants. Its goal is to reduce drive-alone commutes into Downtown by 4,185 vehicles by 2011, and eventually by 15,970 vehicles by 2015.
