To further our mission – to champion a healthy, vibrant urban core – DSA and MID implement a variety of programs throughout the year to attract visitors, residents, employees and businesses to Downtown.

Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series
Every summer we bring FREE, live music to Downtown workers, residents and visitors with the Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series. Featuring national and local artists, the concert series encourages everyone to take a mid-day break and enjoy our most precious Northwest season – summer! The concerts kick-off with summer and run through Labor Day weekend, with performances taking place at outdoor locations throughout Downtown Seattle.

Holiday Carousel
Whirling and twirling is added to the holiday hustle and bustle with the whimsical tradition of the Holiday Carousel in Westlake Park (401 Pine St). Open the day after Thanksgiving through the New Year, riding the carousel is a great old or new family tradition!

DSA Annual Meeting
The DSA Annual Meeting is one of the most anticipated events of the year, attracting Downtown’s most prominent business and community leaders. The DSA Annual Meeting is a celebration of the accomplishments from the past year, and a discussion of goals and priorities for the year ahead.

DSA Q&A Forums
Hot topics that shape our Downtown are the focus of these popular quarterly forums that attract hundreds of members. From Viaduct solutions to future Downtown development, these events tackle tough and often controversial issues that impact our region.

Focus Forward Breakfast Roundtables
The DSA, in partnership with Gallatin Public Affairs, hosts a series of breakfast roundtables to discuss issues and opportuniies facing Downtown and the region. Each roundtable will touch upon specific themes or industries that have far reaching effects, with a panel comprised of leaders from those sectors. Attendance is limited to DSA members and clients of Gallatin.

State of Downtown Economic Forum
The State of Downtown Economic Forum is the Downtown Seattle Association’s signature event, providing an insightful report card on the economic health of Downtown Seattle. The forum reviews progress of the past year – and a look ahead – including an analysis of Downtown housing, office market, retail, business sectors, convention & tourism as well as cultural arts, sports and entertainment.

Print copies of the Economic Report are free to DSA members (limit three), and available to non-members for $35. To request a copy, please contact DSA Membership Services Assistant Maia Mercer at 206-613-3209.
