2014 Summer Campaign and Out to Lunch Concert Series Sponsorship Opportunities Now Available
The Metropolitan Improvement District (MID) is currently seeking sponsors for the Summer in Seattle marketing campaign aimed at attracting Puget Sound area visitors to Downtown during the important summer season. The summer campaign has two key components that need sponsorship and advertorial support: the Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series and the Summer in Seattle guide. All sponsorship dollars are invested back into the campaign to increase marketing efforts for the summer months in Downtown Seattle. In addition to strong support through online, print, radio, and TV ads, the Summer in Seattle campaign is also widely promoted though our website and social media channels.
The highly popular Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series is returning for its 36th year, bringing free live music to Downtown-based employees, residents and visitors. Featuring 22 different national and local artists, the concerts are a much-anticipated summer-time attraction and draw thousands of people each week. In 2013, more than 10,000 people attended the concert series. Performances take place at various outdoor locations and parks throughout Downtown Seattle. We offer presenting, partnering, supporting, community and onsite sponsorships. On-site sponsorship can include product sampling and giveaways.
In addition, the MID’s Waterfront neighborhood is seeking sponsors for the Waterfront Whimsea Family Fun Day event on June 8. The event draws thousands of families to the neighborhood for an afternoon of kid-friendly programming including music, magic acts and much more.
The Summer in Seattle guide is distributed through media insertions and direct mail. It includes all of the amazing events Downtown has to offer. The guide reaches more than 150,000 people looking for summer activities. This year we are offering advertorial opportunities, as we do each year with our Holidays in Seattle guide.
