Parking Campaign Finishes Off a Strong Holiday Season

The robust holiday parking campaign drove many visitors to the one-stop mobile website featuring garages not only in Pioneer Square and the Waterfront, but also the Retail Core—which participated in November and December for a very timely holiday trial.

The holiday parking campaign was a great success in bringing traffic to the website and informing visitors of reasonably priced parking garages in Downtown Seattle.

“December was the best performing month to date with a 62 percent increase in web traffic compared to November and a 275 percent increase compared to December of 2012. We’re excited that the message is getting through, that more and more people are using to make their Downtown excursions easier,” says Nick Hawley, DSA Parking Campaign Manager. He added that garages in all three neighborhoods received lots of clicks from visitors.

DSA would like to give a special thank you to the 10 Retail Core garages that joined the holiday trial program, offering $7 or less for weekend parking. The addition of these garages really helped expand the reach of the campaign, bringing a lot of website activity, as well as interest and exposure to their facilities.
